Our New Home!

See our lovely new home! Well... I am pre-empting a little because we are still waiting to hear back about the finance... (hopefully we will find out this week).

As soon as Lance and I saw the house we both fell in love with it straight away - which was pretty amazing 'cos we weren't agreeing with most of the houses... The best thing was that it's cheaper than other houses we'd looked at which were in the wrong area and lower grade houses etc. So it's a pretty good deal and bound to increase in value.

It has 4 large bedrooms, 2 x lounge rooms, family room, games room, ensuit, walk in robes, gas cooking, hi-tech alarm system, ducted airconditioning, remote control undercover garage etc. We love the open plan living and the house is only 2 years old! There is a lovely large entertaining area outside and quite a lot of room to the side of the house and round the back. The best thing will be that we'll be able to have people over and have barbeques etc. - so much more room! And we'll have room for people to stay over when they visit - yeay!

The repayments are going to be high and we're going to have to scrimp for awhile (don't worry - we can still afford to eat! he he) but it will be worth it in the long run... especially as it is in such a good location (only 5 min from where we currently live).

If all goes well we should be moving in by the end of October 06! So at the mo we're scrounging together the $$$ for the deposit which has been stressful - but we should just make it! We have soooo many wonderful ideas for the house and gardens etc. We just can't wait! I think with all the things we want to do we are just going to have to win lotto! he he
